Childcare



Since January 2010, Templeshannon Community & Childcare has been participating in the Early Childhood Care & Education Scheme (ECCE). We offer preschool sessions as well as a toddler group who avail of the National Childcare Scheme (NCS) keeping fees low and making childcare affordable.

 

Childcare is a fantastic opportunity and environment to grow a child’s physical, emotional, social and intellectual development. We prepare our children for Primary School and allow them to explore and establish their own personal learning journeys. We follow the Aistear and Siolta models and believe in a play based model that takes the child’s lead.  We have four sessions in total.

Two 3 hour sessions in the morning:

  • Jellybeans Preschool: 08:40 – 11:40
  • Lollipops Preschool: 08:50 – 11:50

Two 3 hour sessions in the afternoon:

  • Jellybeans Toddler: 12:30 – 15:30
  • Lollipops Preschool: 12:45 – 15:45
